Sweet 20!

It was a lovely Saturday morning.

Adelyn, Chan Sing and I went to One Jaya to treat Mr. Goh (Adelyn's friend) and his wife for breakfast because he helped us in claiming back our hard-earned money which we won four years ago in the National Historical Essay Writing Competition from He-Who-Must-Not-Be-Named the principal.

During our breakfast, Chan Sing and Adelyn gave me a SURPRISE birthday celebration which I really didn't expect. That's so sweet of them.

Flashback: I recalled how much time and effort we all put in to do the research about Sarawak's history and wrote a 750-words essay four years ago. We went through ups and downs while carrying out the project but our hard work had certainly paid off. :)

After the breakfast, we went to Friendship Park to take some pics as requested by Adelyn and had a long chit-chat till noon. :)

Greeted by lil' Isaac after I came back home to get myself prepared to watch "The Avengers" with my friends at MBO. He's cute, isn't it? :D

 Woei Khang, Ken and Ivy bought Big Apple donuts as a treat for my birthday. THANK YOU FRIENDS! :)

Battleship

Went to watch Battleship with sis and her friend this afternoon.

Synopsis
This movie is about humans trying to communicate with the extraterrestrial life from other planet. The aliens responded and came to the planet Earth to build some sort of power source in the ocean. So, the naval fleets have to engage in an intense battle against these uninvited "guests" in order to save this planet.


The movie was A TOTAL BADASS with cool effects and a lil' bit of humour at the beginning of the movie.  
The Shredders reminded me of Transformers tho.

Anyways, Battleship is a MUST-WATCH movie people! Here's the trailer of the movie. :)

AirAsia Assessment: Part II

It was 5.45 in the morning. Went to MacD for breakfast and boarded the KL Transit to LCCT for my assessment.

Waiting at the main entrance half an hour before the assessment.

 Here's a lil' bit about the assessment.

(1) English - 45 questions in 1 hour

(2) Physics - 25 questions in 30 minutes

(3) Mathematics - 25 questions in 30 minutes

Physics and Maths papers are combined set. For Physics, we were allowed to use scientific calculator but not for Mathematics. Only basic calculator was allowed for Maths paper.

Surprisingly, there's no IQ test in this assessment although the email did state about it.

And oh, we did height measurement too before leaving the main hall.

After the assessment,  I made friends with some of the guys who went for the assessment as well in the cafeteria. One of them was Desmond (pictured above). 

Was it me or did the plane just landed on the roof of the academy? o.O

This guy also went to the assessment. Chan Chia Min was his name. He's a Sarawakian, just like me! Haha.
FYI, he's a student from a flying school, so yeah. :)

Epihany: It was raining and Chan & I went to the guard house to take the next shuttle to LCCT. After that, a white Myvi stopped by at the entrance and it was the girl in this pic! She gave us a ride there and I really wanna thank her for sending us both to the LCCT. :) Damn! I should at least ask for her FB or handphone number! :(

Had lunch with Chan at Marrybrown before he departed for Miri.

Headed to Salak Tinggi to catch the next train to KL Sentral after that.

After the weather got better, I went to Midvalley and later Time Squares to shop for books and shoes. :)
